We’re now a week and a half into renovating our new home, and things are going pretty well, despite many a surprise. The short list of things to do before we move in are:
Remove old hardwood from 2nd level and install new hardwood

This weekend saw huge progress in the kitchen. We primed all of the walls and ceiling, painted the ceiling, and got a first coat on the walls. I installed the concrete backerboard for underneath the tiles, and laid about half of the floor tiles. And no more temporary lighting… the pot lighting [...]
